Sonipat. Oct 1, (PV News) Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a rally in Sonipat on Tuesday, accused the BJP-led government in Haryana of “snatching” employment opportunities from the youth. He criticized the Agnipath scheme, claiming it deprived Agniveers of pensions, family canteen benefits, and martyr status. Gandhi also highlighted the hardships faced by Haryana youths forced into illegal immigration due to lack of jobs, sharing stories from his visit to the US.
He further criticized the BJP for high cooking gas prices and vowed that under Congress, gas cylinders would cost Rs 500 and women would receive Rs 2,000 per month. Gandhi called on voters to choose carefully, warning of BJP’s influence over smaller parties.
Haryana will hold its Assembly elections on October 5, with results on October 8.
