Best Time to Invest in Andhra Pradesh: Chandrababu Naidu

Amaravati, Oct 17 (Patriotic Views Desk) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has invited industrialists to invest in the state, saying there’s never been a better time to do so.

The invitation came after the state Cabinet approved six new policies aimed at boosting development. Naidu took to X (formerly Twitter) to extend a warm welcome to investors and business leaders.

“Dear Industrialists & Investors, Andhra Pradesh is now open with new, investor-friendly policies. I invite you to invest in our state, where we offer a business-friendly government, skilled workforce, and strong infrastructure,” Naidu wrote.

He emphasized that the new policies were created after consulting experienced industry leaders, aiming to encourage businesses and entrepreneurship. “We are building the best business environment in India. I personally assure you that the Government of Andhra Pradesh will support your efforts to set up and grow your business here,” he said.

“There has never been a better time to invest in India, and especially in Andhra Pradesh! Join us on this exciting growth journey, where your business can thrive alongside our state’s development,” Naidu added.

In the Cabinet meeting, chaired by Naidu on Wednesday, several new policies were approved, including those for industrial development, MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises), entrepreneurship, food processing, electronics, private industrial parks, and clean energy.

The industrial policy aims to attract Rs 30 lakh crore in manufacturing investments over the next five years. It seeks to bring in Rs 5 lakh crore in actual investments during this period and aims to attract Rs 83,000 crore in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The policy also hopes to create five lakh jobs and develop more than 175 industry-specific parks. Additionally, it aims to double exports to Rs 33,200 crore.

“These policies are aligned with our goal of attracting investment, creating jobs, and promoting clean energy. Our main focus is on generating employment and empowering Andhra Pradesh’s youth to think and act globally, with initiatives like ‘One family, one entrepreneur,’” Naidu said after the Cabinet meeting.
