Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy Distributes Appointment Letters to Newly Recruited Teachers

Oct 9, 2024

Hyderabad 9 Oct 2024| Patriotic Views : During the distribution ceremony of teacher recruitment documents for DSC 2024, Chief Minister E. Revanth Reddy addressed the gathering with a passionate speech, drawing parallels to the upcoming Dussehra festival, and emphasized the urgent need for job creation in Telangana.

Reddy expressed his disappointment with the past decade, stating that despite having a chief minister in power for two consecutive terms, unemployment remains a pressing issue in the state. He highlighted the significant delays in the release of the DSC notification, which was initially expected in 2017 but was issued three years late. He noted that the appointments for 2019 were made two years after the announcement.

Addressing the new teachers, he stated, “We have promised that jobs will be available only after the existing positions held by family members are vacated. In line with our commitment, we are presenting job documents today.” He proudly announced that within just 90 days of taking office, the government has facilitated the appointment documents for 30,000 jobs.

Reddy underlined the vital role of government schools in the reconstruction of Telangana, sharing that 34,000 teachers have been transferred and 21,000 have been promoted. He acknowledged the obstacles posed by opposition elements trying to obstruct job opportunities for the youth, asserting that despite these challenges, his government is committed to improving the education system.

“The happiness of your families is our priority,” he stated, while also mentioning that some individuals are unhappy with the success of the recruitment process. He questioned the motives of those who have given jobs to their family members over the past decade instead of thinking about providing opportunities to underprivileged children.

The Chief Minister reassured the audience that their government is taking concrete steps to improve the infrastructure of government schools, including establishing Young India Residential Schools across various constituencies, with an investment of ₹125 crore each.

Reddy called on the new teachers to focus on providing quality education and uplift the students of Telangana, as they are responsible for shaping the future of the state. He emphasized the importance of enhancing the skill sets of unemployed youth in line with industrial needs and announced initiatives for skill development through Young India Skills University.

In conclusion, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy urged everyone to work diligently towards the reconstruction of Telangana and to take pride in the education provided in government schools, stating, “You are the builders of Telangana’s future.”
