Harish Rao Criticizes Congress Government for Neglecting BC Students’ Future, Demands Immediate Release of Overseas Scholarship Funds
Hyderabad 15 October (Patriotic Views Desk) Former Minister and MLA Harish Rao has strongly criticized the Congress government, accusing it of neglecting BC students. He demanded the immediate release of funds under the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi Scheme. These funds, approved by the previous BRS government, were intended to support students pursuing higher education abroad. However, 65 deserving students are still waiting for financial assistance, putting their educational dreams at risk due to the delay.
Harish Rao questioned whether the Congress government plans to discontinue the overseas fellowship scheme introduced by KCR. He emphasized that the delay is jeopardizing the future of these students, leaving their dreams in uncertainty.
“The Congress government is quick to change the names and symbols of schemes but is failing to deliver on its promises,” Harish Rao added.
