
Cricketer Mohammed Siraj Takes Charge as DSP at Telangana DGP Office
Hyderabad:11 Oct (Patriotic Views Desk) Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj officially took charge as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in Telangana on Friday, marking a significant milestone in his career. Siraj reported to the Director General of Police (DGP), Telangana, in a ceremony where he was accompanied by Member of Parliament M. Anil Kumar Yadav.
This appointment fulfills a promise made by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who had previously announced that Siraj would be honored with a prestigious Group-I government position for his remarkable contributions to cricket. Siraj expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for this recognition, acknowledging the state’s unwavering support for sports and athletes.
Anil Kumar Yadav also thanked the Chief Minister for the gesture, praising his vision to enhance sports infrastructure across Telangana. They emphasized the government’s efforts to develop a sports university, aimed at nurturing future talent, and highlighted the accelerated pace of work in establishing the “Young India Sports University,” a key initiative under the Chief Minister’s leadership.
