JP Nadda confident of party victory in Telangana

Dec 8, 2024

Hyderabad, Dec 7 BJP National President JP Nadda expressed strong confidence that the BJP will emerge victorious in Telangana, emphasising the party’s dedication to the state’s development and progress.
Addressing a public meeting in Saroornagar, Hyderabad, on Saturday evening, Nadda highlighted the BJP’s growing success across India, citing its dominance in 19 states as evidence of the people’s trust in the party.
Referring to the recent Lok Sabha elections, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi secured a historic third consecutive term despite a unified opposition, Nadda called it a testament to the BJP’s stronghold.
“Change in Telangana is only possible with the BJP,” Nadda declared, accusing the Congress government of failing the people with unfulfilled promises. He claimed that Congress’s victories in Telangana, Karnataka, and Himachal Pradesh were based on hollow assurances.
Nadda criticized the Congress government for not delivering on key commitments, including Rs 12,000 annual support for auto drivers, Rs 15,000 assistance for tenant farmers, and Rs 2,500 monthly support for women. He also questioned the lack of action on education assurance cards, unemployment allowances, and welfare schemes such as Shadi Mubarak.
Additionally, he accused Congress of failing to deliver financial aid promised for professional development of communities like Yadava and Kuruma.
Nadda further alleged that the Congress party has jeopardized the state’s financial health by relying excessively on loans to sustain governance. In contrast, he outlined BJP’s achievements under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, citing the allocation of Rs 1.60 lakh crore in central funds to Telangana.
Highlighting several key projects, Nadda mentioned the establishment of AIIMS in Bibinagar, five Bharatmala highway projects, and the introduction of three Vande Bharat trains.
He also noted a Rs 27,000 crore allocation for Warangal and significant increases in budgets for textiles and railways, showcasing BJP’s focus on infrastructure and economic growth. Nadda reaffirmed the BJP’s principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” to ensure justice and progress for all sections of society.
Calling the Congress a “party of deceit,” Nadda urged the people of Telangana to support the BJP for transparent and development-driven governance. He stressed the need for BJP to come to power in the state, describing it as essential for fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
He also rallied BJP workers to intensify their efforts in exposing the Congress government’s shortcomings and work relentlessly for a BJP-led Telangana.
“Under Modi’s leadership, change is not only possible but inevitable,” Nadda stated, exuding confidence in the party’s ability to bring transformational governance to Telangana.
